Elation & jubilation thumping down the streets..

Two pieces of good news.

1. I achieved a GOLD for IPPT.

I was really elated that I managed to squeeze out all my power juices and jumped a 234. SBJ has been the biggest obstacle and in fact caused me to get a mere 'PASS' initially. Miraculously even though I did not put in much effort to train up (in fact my fitness level has been deteriorating instead since I ran a 9:18 only), that second leap of mine allowed me to finally to kiss a GOLD with great jubilation.

2. I GOT INTO NTU COMMUNICATION STUDIES!!!!!

Yes, the exclaimation marks shows the euphoria that I'm feeling now.

The scenario of receiving this news was pretty hilarious actually - Imagine yourself sound asleep when you receive a call. Groggily and unwillingly you pick up the call (private number), and the next thing you knew you find yourself caught offguard with the sudden revelation. And your classic reaction; shrieking (yes shireking not even near screaming) out loud like a mad hyena that sent two campmates rushing to your bunk and witnessing your childish and embarrassingly, feminine fits.

Oh well!

Seriously, I thought I was a goner after struggling through my group interview as well as the horrendous answers presented during the written test. But I suppose I really thank God that my sincerity, eagerness and honesty shined from the rest. Who says a down-to-earth demeanour will not be beneficial during an interview ought to be shot.

Alright, gonna rush back bunk to catch American Idol though Brooke's out already.
