I miss everything about you

I miss the times when you would bark at strangers.

I miss the times when you would pester me for food. Especially nice smelling delicacies.

I miss the times when you would wag your tail fervently.

I miss the times when you would stroll out to the entrance and welcome me back home.

I miss the times when you would give me a lick on my face when you know I'm dejected.

I miss the times when you would snuggle beside me and provide me with that warmth I wholeheartedly desire.

I can let you have my pillow or laze on my face if you wish to. I'll promise to cook the best eggs and meat for you to munch on as long as you can open your mouth and start chewing. I don't desire much, but just that one meaningful lick of yours to reciprocate to our concern.

God please don't let her suffer anymore. I really feel so helpless when all I can do is to feed her, bathe her when she urinates on herself or guiding the antidotes down her throat when I have practically no idea whether they would work.

Let Gigi live two more years healthily before she fades into nonexistence peacefully. That's all I'm praying for. I'll promise to treasure whatever time I have left with her.
