Happy 'Chers Day! A day of dilled with laughters and pure enjoyment, while an agony for some others. Teachers' Day in Serangoon Junior College, while was not as exciting as those during my stay in Damai Secondary, can be described as a averagely euphoric one. Chunyan and my performance today did not go smoothly as we fervently prayed for. Even holding numerous practices, we had to undergo the anxiety of facing the entire J1 cohort as well as ensuring we had enough confidence to meet all of them. Fortunately, that feeling of standing on the stage and giving your best shot is phenomenal and indescribable. Although the minus one track was not used, and the volume of the music was overpowering, I really enjoyed myself. So Chunyan, cheer up. You did your best! =D Went back to my secondary school next. Was literally struggling to manage my excitement of meeting my teachers and more importantly, my beloved classmates again. Not much differences, with Junhao and Weijie appearing mature and 'cool' respectively. Wished Mrs Oon, one of my favourite teachers in school. Had a talk with Mr 'Triple Ts' next. Realise how mawkishly sentimental he was, as he seemed to really enjoy our company. Had a great 'lecture' by Mr Psycho Cho next, another especial teacher of mine. It is undeniable that I will never be able to meet another teacher who possess an eccentric yet hilarious personality. He is extremely down-to-earth too. Loved his company and appreciate his efforts of constantly engaging us through senseless jokes. Ms Koh gave a educational talk too, but at least I met the teacher who never failed to upset me with her ridiculous demands. Proceeded to Tampines Mall with my gang. Ate at Yoshinoya, a luncheonette which upsells food at an exorbitant price. But the taste of the Teriyaki Chicken was heavenly and worth every penny. The next destination was Toysaurus. Surprisingly, I had a lot of fun messing up the toys with my gang as we practically ransacked the entire place for fun materials. Imagine us using swords to scratch our armpits and being fascinated by magic tricks. Practically shopped around the mall until many of them complaint about their legs aching. Therefore, we decided to feast of Swensen's Ice Cream, which was priced cheaply at four dollars! 5 sinful scoops, slow service and bad attitude might have destroy the great day we had, but the company of one another was blissful enough to keep us in blithesomeness. Eileen as usual experimented on food, inevitably creating an inedible recipe, not forgetting a stinky one too! It was really a wonderful fun day. Enjoyed myself thoroughly! P.S: Thank you Thaddeaus for treating us! |
