Gang Outing, 3rd of July First of all, a commendable announcement: I finally arrived the EARLIEST that day! Well, I was always branded as the latest by my gang whenever we met for any outings. Now, I can finally dismiss this inaccurate assumption. =P Alright, 3rd of July marks our gang gathering after weeks of seperation. It was a pity that Weijie and Mingwei could not come due to the arrival of their common tests, as well as Junhao and Chunyan who had project and 'girl's problems' respectively. Exteriorly everyone appeared to be considerably similar, but there were notable transformations with regards to personalities, not forgetting someone who claimed to be on diet! Haa.. Aimlessly strolled to and fro from Downtown East, and had our lunch. With everyone present, we proceeded to Pasir Ris Park for a cycling getaway. While moods were bright and euphoric, Thaddeaus pestered us to return the bikes with fear of a confiscated IC. Haa.. Could see that he was extremely pissed off. Went over to the children's arena aka the playground next. Some of us climbed the spider webs, while a timid pig (opps!) offered to render her service as a bag caretaker. Took many photos yet again, and this was when someone angered me. Fortunately, the frustration diminished and we board a bus back to the interchange. Vanessa, after much pacifying, finally came along with us to our next destination, the Safra Bowl. Honestly, I was having rather low expectations of myself, and decided that enjoying the game will be more than enough. However, I striked twice and spared a few times, and that boosted my morale tremendously. Again I restrained myself from bombarding unnecessary remarks to an individual so as not to destroy the joyful atmosphere then. Neverthless, I was enjoying myself, perhaps more of roaring out loud with my gang then bowling itself. All good things came to an end, and the day concluded as we took our respective buses back. Though there were several problems which arised during this outing, it was definitely worthwhile to be out. Hope to meet you guys soon! =) |
