Super Sunday! Sentosa.. Ages since I last visited that crowded landmark. Anyway, I always get burnt over there, and today was no exception. Haa.. Went for SR Canoeist Outing today. Honestly I was not really enthusiastic about this initially, since I was dead sleeepy! I couldn't be bothered with my hair nor my clothes. As we met up with the rest at Siloso Beach, fortunately the cheerful mood came about. Woot. Marked off the day with an unexpected Amazing Race. Well, my immediate reaction was.. 'I didn't bring clothes!' Haa.. Well, thats because Lina-lo mentioned the losing team will be forfeited. Paranoid huh? The first station was Musical Fountain. Credit goes to Jaromes, who got that answer within several minutes. However, we took a long time combing for the J2. Escaped from playing any station games, as they could not think of anything punishing. We got our next clue, which was a maths question. Wee Sheng suggested that we 6901 (the answer) meant 16, which shown Volcano Land. We rushed over, to realise that no J2s were spotted. I decided to repeat our recording, while Jingxiu suggested that we should write that equation down. This time Jaromes calculated correctly by following all the Maths Laws, and we got the answer 711, meaning 7 Eleven. Wah, guess who was there? The forever-calling-me-luohan irritant. Hahah. Anyway, we were forfeited hellishly this time round, having to play volleyball for 5 The third stop was strenous, we went to the wrong station- Underwater World again, and finally realise that it meant Dragon Trail. (Now I know how precious Hp is. Hahah) However, we had a tough time searching for Melvin, who was supposedly visible at Mount Indie. (Er, forgot the name) No forfeits again, and we ran off to the next station, the Two Towers which are linked together. Km and Zx were there, and we were made to guess what does, ' I stand' represent. After some time, I blurted out UNDERSTAND, which was the answer. After completing some task which requires us to be thick skinned again, we got our last clue- Cinderalla Godmather Take A Flight. I used my rusty brain, and eventually realised that it was the Burger King area, as there was a clock there. Haa. We rushed back to Siloso, but Group 2 arrived 5 minutes earlier. Which means.. F-O-R-F-E-I-T Got drawn on face with 'army crayons', and had to dance the chicken dance. I think my skin really became thicker by 2 cm now. Haa.. Volleyball was next. Kinda enjoy it, since its not that 'ball' game (My gang will know what's the ball that I'm referring too. No, nothing obscene. Heh) The water was inviting, but too bad I didn't bring along extra clothing. Before wash up, Lino-Lo wanted us to play the last game, which was to send two representatives out and devour.. 10 hotdog sandwiches and an additional 10 sausages. Jaromes and Earl, the jumbo and quickest eaters respectively won Melvin and Hong An. Couldn't stop laughing when four of them stuffed their mouth with food. Finally, we proceeded back to Harbourfront interchange. Some of us went for dinner. Chattered, joked and er, sang? Haa.. Well, back home now, exhausted but really enjoyed this Sunday. Got to know the seniors too, like Lina-Lo, someone you would not to disturb unless you want to be smacked, Irritant who is extremely corny, and realising that many of them are quite fun to be with as well. Though still kinda unfamiliar with her, but just wishing Daphne a happy birthday. =) |
