What a wonderful world

These two days had been extremely amazing, and had been the one of the best throughout this year (at least until now.)

Yesterday, my eyes sparked opened, and I stared at my clock in disbelief. '6.30am' was what it shown. And I was supposed to start work at 6.45! Within 10 minutes, I changed (yes, I didn't bathe), combed my hair, rushed down and fetch a taxi. Fortunately, lesser people were calling for cabs at that time, and I unwillingly parted $10 for the fare.

Finished work at 2, and went home to changed before proceeding down to the gym next. Did the usuals, but was kinda surprised when I couldn't lift my usual amount of weights while training my biceps. That proves my exhausted and physically unfit self. Anyway, jogged 20 minutes on the treadmill, and went down to Tampines Mall next to meet Vanessa & Ray.

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, though the movie 'Series Of Unfortunate Events' bored me. Vanessa & Ray disagreed, said the film was interesting and rated it 3.5/5 and 4/5 respectively. I guess I was expecting too much from this movie, since it was acted by Jim Carrey, and at the same time, I was tired. Hence, it receives a pathetic 1.5/5 rating from me.

Went over to Starbucks next, and was amused when I ordered a 'for here tall vanilla low fat latte'. The pos (cash register) boy was surprised and he gave me that weird look as he repeated my order. Working in Starbucks, yet paying 5.35 for a drink. What an irony huh? The three of us chatted and narcisstic Van, as usual, took pictures.

Rushed home to catch Bo Li Xie, as I thought it was the last episode. Turns out it wasn't. Anyway, found out that Ric was kinda glum when I cammed with him, so i took the opportunity to cheer him up, since he is always able to make me feel better when I'm emotional or moodless. Unsure if I had succeeded, but it really made my day when I see him smiled. Rest well =)
