What A Day. Meeting up with my gang simply cheers me up. Yesterday, Joseph, Thaddeaus, Tuty (and her friend), Eileen and me met up for lunch. Well, due to the gigantic crowd at Bugis yesterday, we end up lunching at Delifrance. Not much to blog about, but just want to strengthen the fact that friendships are important in one's life. Looking forward to the next outing! =) Met up with Kaylen after that. As I had to rush off to work, we chatted a while at Starbucks Bugis, and he sent me off to work. Joke 1 of the day While at SB-BG (Starbucks Bugis), someone from the stall called. Immediately I recognised the voice as Aminah's. She asked me to buy a pack of nasi brayani for her. Since it was on the way, I agreed. However, when Kaylen suggested sending me to work later, I decided to return back to stall first and buy her lunch later. Upon entering my stall, I smiled sheepishly at Aminah , especially since my hands were not carrying anything. I walked over and revealed that as I was almost late for work, I was not able to buy her lunch. Aminah was confused, and told Salina that I didn't buy the rice. Immediately, I realised my mistake. The lunch was for Salina, not Aminah! All of the partners were laughing hilariously at the joke, while I was so damn embaressed. Anyway, worked with C-MC later. This irritating guy revealed that he will be going for school attachment from next month onward, for a period of 3 months. Well, actually I appreciate the fact that he is extremely noisy, because his jokes usually makes me laugh. Definitely will miss his presence. Passed his early birthday present to him, which surprised him. Joke 2 of the day No, this isn't a joke to me. I was (and am) so shocked with this incident. While on the mrt station, patiently awaiting for the train to arrive, this 30 year old guy approached me. "What's your name boy?" I was dumbfounded. I should say shocked. This guy is cruising me? I was like, "What the hell?" I didn't reply him, and looked down on the floor. He introduced himself, and carried on asking me rhetorical questions like, "Did you just came back from school," (when I was wearing jeans and there were obviously no polytechnics around the area?) Stood rooted on the ground, I responsed. The train arrived, and I quickly rushed in. He strolled in, while I fervently prayed that he will not stand beside me. I heaved a sigh of relief when he went on to stand beside another guy. "So where are you going later?" I could feel my face gradually flushed red with this unexpected loud statement. Again, I ignored him (and the stares on me). He stood over in front of me, and continued. Gaining my courage, I stared at him at the eye, and questioned, "Do I know you? Why are you asking me so many questions?" If I thought that was enough to startle him away, I was undoubtedly wrong. He reciprocated forthrightly, and carried . Either because I didn't want to show that I was intimidated, or I hoped to scare him off, I rudely replied him occasionally. Finally I reached Tampines, and we both alighted, with him saying goodbye when my back faced him. I related my incident to Van, and expectedly she guffawed. We decided to catch Constatine (Yes, Khangjing :) ) but fatedly, there were no more tickets left. We proceeded to Macdonalds, where I got to know few of Van's friends, and more importantly, trying to resolve her sophiscated problem. At least it was complicated enough to trouble Van heavily. That went on to around 2 am, and both of us took a cab back home. Though there were some unforseen situations that are really embaressing, I enjoyed my day thoroughly. Good that I took a good rest today.. :P |
