Lazy Boy =) What's with the title today? Haha.. Well, I slept almost 13 hours today? Lets do some calculation.. From 3 am to 1 pm- 10 hours & From 5pm to 8pm- 3 hours Can I be more 'pigger'? =P _____________________ Gonna work at Changi Airport Terminal 2 tomorrow. Have no idea why i'm anticipating so much. Perhaps Van was right, I'm totally out for my job. I'm enjoying my life to the fullest due to the job. "What's so special about it?" Honestly, Starbucks has brought me to a new aspect of life. Something that I would not have experienced if I were to go to Jc for my 1st 3 months. Foremost, I gained vast amount of knowledge. Don't be mistaken; I did not learn much about coffee beans. At least for now! :P So what did I learn? Mostly about being more extrovertic with strangers. Initially, I'm always complaining that I'm too introvertic with strangers. Recalling what Kelvin once told me- one is ALWAYS being judged exteriorly. What about the inner beauty? Much much later. This means one will have to initate conversations to make friends, and not to be overly reliant, awaiting for others to start a chat all the time. Throughout my secondary school life, I learnt about leadership, I made new friends, was extremely talkative, but there was a part of me undeveloped. Fortunately, that 'area' is developing now. I learnt to be appreciative for whatever I'm doing. Props to my concourse workmates for that. Seeing everyone being so passionate about their job just fire me up. I can't exactly say I'm really dedicated, as I dread working at times. However at work, I'm always doing my best. Learning and enjoying. Somehow I'm no longer nervous when I approach strangers. Of course, I can be still quite hestitant. But at least I'm able to initate a chat rightaway. Finally, will I continue working in Starbucks if I were to go to jc? How will I be able to cope working and studying at the same time? I ain't sure, but yes, I will continue as long as my passion is there. |
