Moodless..

Wanted to blog about Singapore Idol, but I guess I will do it tomorrow as I am quite moody now.

I am feeling quite disappointed, discouraged and sad for the first time after a long time. Its regarding my interview in Starbucks I guess. Just now, was calling my sister, as I wanted to make sure all the details for the interview is all correct. Suddenly, she asked me this question, " Will you continue your job once you enter jc? That is, how many hours can you contribute?

I was absolutely shocked by the 'directness' of this question (not my sister). I kept silent for sometime, until I answered finally, I don't think I will continue if I enter a jc. She was quite surprised as well, and she continued, "They might not be employing students who are just simply seeking for job just for three months. That is why poly students usually join Starbucks." I was dumbfounded, and immediately I could feel my limbs going numb.

I discuss with Eileen, who was supposed to go to the interview with me. She was as surprised by this sudden information, and she will be giving me her response on whether she will be going tomorrow..

Right now, I am pondering over this matter quite disheartedly as well as seriously. How am I going to give a response to this question? After some serious thoughts, like I have told Eileen, I will just be extremely honest.

"I think I will only be able to work until my school reopens. The reason I do want to work in Starbucks is because I'm really interested in the working style here, and gaining new experience. Perhaps during my jc holidays, I can come back and work again."
