Today is Puayling's Birthday!

I never had such hilarious, awkward as well as joyful emotions running through me for almost a month.

Today is Puayling's Birthday. I bought a huge softtoy dog for her, as a representative token of sincerity from 11 people, including myself, Well, seeing her being so cheerful sure made my day, because I love to see my friends smile during their special occasions.

Joseph and I went to buy additional gifts, which was chocolates for Puayling. Well, it is her favourite delicacy, so I thought it should be right if we buy some for her. As we strolled towards Tampines Mall, we saw a cameraman and a interviewer. Joseph remarked jokingly that they might interview us. Immediately, after he finished is sppech, the two rushed towards us. At that moment, I was extremely shocked. "Hi. I am sure you watch Singapore Idol, right? After watching Beverly and Jessea going out of the competition, what is your view?" I composed myself and replied accordingly, while Joseph sneaked off, leaving me there embarress and really really awkward. What was more embarressing, though, was me carrying Pauyling's softtoy while getting interviewed! Let me hope the camera did not take me with the softtoy.

Next, after a sumptuous meal at food court, we proceeded to catch a movie. Actually, we bought tickets for Resident Evil. Unfortunately, Joseph and I was under 16, and we were banned from entering. Curse our bad luck! Anyway, we finally decided to catch Jackie's The New Detective Story. However, we were coerced to sit the first row seats. Weijie suggested we sit at the empty seats at the back. And our bad lucks continued, to our horror, the people arrived and told us we were sitting at their seats. At that point, all of us never felt so awkward before, and we stood up and proceeded to our original seats, we a bunch of stares and glares watching our movements. Damn our extreme bad luck!

Fortunately, Jackie's movie is a tremendously great success. The New Detective Story had a good plot, good characters who knew their roles very clearly, and together with many twist and turns in the story, I can only say all of us left the theatre joyfully and satisfied. Well, perhaps our bad luck was not that bad- at least it allowed us to watch a great movie!

Overall, the day was filled with excitement and definitely bad moments. However, I truly enjoyed myself, and together with the accompaniment of my friends, I am positive that Puayling surely enjoyed her Birthday this year!
